[BIRMINGHAM, AL] June 17, 2025 — Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard, attended the Turning Point Luncheon at the Vestavia Country Club, joining supporters, alumni, and staff in recognizing the organization’s commitment to helping men reclaim their lives through recovery.
Emmy Award-winning ESPN broadcaster Lauren Sisler, who lost both of her parents to an accidental overdose at age 18, served as emcee for the event, bringing a deeply personal and heartfelt perspective to the afternoon.
Turning Point offers a peaceful and supportive environment where individuals can begin their healing journey through evidence-based care grounded in faith and community. During the luncheon, Abbie connected with attendees, participated in an autograph session, and listened
to powerful stories of hope and resilience.
As part of her year of service, Abbie continues to champion organizations that offer compassion and support to individuals and families across the country.
