[COLUMBUS, GA] April 19, 2026 — Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan traveled to Columbus, Georgia this weekend for a dynamic series of events with the Miss Georgia Organization, celebrating community, mentorship, and the next generation of leaders.
Joined by Miss Georgia Audrey Kittila, Cassie attended the Miss Georgia Gala and a breakfast reception the following morning, where she connected with members of the Columbus community, local Miss Georgia ambassadors, and the Miss Georgia Belles—the state chapter of Miss America’s Little Sisters program. The non-competitive mentorship program, designed for girls ages 5–13, focuses on building confidence, leadership, and meaningful connections.
The weekend’s festivities were highlighted by a special musical moment, as Cassie and Audrey took the stage together for a performance of “Cowboy Take Me Away.” Cassie also delivered a solo performance of “Happy Girl,” creating an unforgettable evening of music and celebration.
Through appearances like these, Miss America continues to foster meaningful connections with state organizations across the country, uplifting the young women who represent the program’s core values of service and leadership.
The strength and spirit of the Miss America network are evident, with mentorship, empowerment, and community engagement at the heart of every experience.
