Miss America Joins Miss Maryland Organization for Scholarship Fundraiser

[BETHESDA, MD] March 29, 2026 — Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan traveled to Maryland this weekend to take part in the inaugural Miss Maryland Fashion Show, a special event benefiting the Miss Maryland Scholarship Organization.

Throughout the evening, Miss America welcomed attendees alongside Miss Maryland’s Teen, Kinsley Potts, took to the runway, and captivated the audience with a performance of “That’s Life.” The event brought together community members, supporters, and ambassadors in a celebration of style, service, and scholarship.

Prior to the event, Donegan also had the opportunity to reconnect with her Miss America Class sisters, Miss Maryland Maria Derasavi and Miss District of Columbia Katie Wadman.

The inaugural fashion show served as a key fundraising initiative, raising vital scholarship dollars to support young women across Maryland as they pursue their academic and professional goals through the Miss America Opportunity.
