[Birmingham, AL] June 28, 2025 —– Miss America Abbie Stockard returned to her hometown to crown the new Miss Alabama, bringing her journey full circle. Throughout her reign, Abbie has represented Alabama with grace, heart, and authenticity at every step. She stepped into the role of Miss America with an open heart and mind, earning pride not only from her home state but from the entire nation.
“On Saturday night, I officially closed the chapter as Miss Alabama. But as I continue serving as Miss America for the next few months and eventually pass on that crown too, Alabama will always be home. Every lesson I’ve learned, every memory I’ve made, and every person who has poured into me along the way…I’ll carry it all with me the rest of my life,” Abbie shared.
Her return to Birmingham was a celebration of legacy, growth, and the enduring bond between a hometown and the woman it helped shape.
