[ARLINGTON, TX] September 20, 2026 — Just weeks after making history as the 99th Miss America and fourth Miss Texas to earn the national title, Miss America Regan Hutsell returned home to the Lone Star State in true Texas fashion — with the Dallas Cowboys.
On Sunday, September 20, Regan was welcomed to AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the Cowboys’ home opener against the Washington Commanders, marking her first Texas appearance since being crowned Miss America on September 6 in West Palm Beach.
And Miss America proved to be a pretty good luck charm, as the Cowboys took the win over Washington, 37–20!
Regan took to the field at AT&T Stadium, received a larger-than-life Texas welcome and spent time with America’s Sweethearts, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Naturally, she couldn’t leave without showing off a few of her signature Rockette kicks alongside the DCC. The moment quickly took off across social media, generating millions of views and giving fans across the country a glimpse of Miss America’s Texas visit.
From the football field to the sidelines, Regan brought her Texas roots to one of the most iconic stages in American sports, celebrating the state that shaped her while stepping into her new role on a national stage.
The Dallas Cowboys home opener was just the latest stop in a whirlwind first month for the 99th Miss America. Since her historic crowning, Regan has traveled from West Palm Beach to New York Fashion Week, Emmy weekend in Los Angeles and now back to her home state, with appearances and opportunities continuing to fill her first weeks in the role.
And if her first month is any indication, Miss America’s year is only getting started.
