[WEST PALM BEACH, FL] September 5, 2026 – The Miss America Organization is pleased to announce that Miss Utah’s Teen Elle Anderson has been crowned Miss America’s Teen 2027, becoming the 21st young woman to hold the title. Anderson was selected from among 52 extraordinary state delegates representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
She is the first Miss Utah’s Teen to win the Miss America’s Teen title.
Elle is a passionate advocate for youth leadership and service. Through her Community Service Initiative, Every Beat Matters, created in honor of her late brother, Elle promotes teen-centered CPR training and emergency readiness built around three core values: Confidence, Preparation, and Rescue. Her mission is to equip teens with the tools to save lives—and, in doing so, transform their own. Elle has earned more than $40,000 in scholarships through the Miss America Opportunity and is enrolled at Brigham Young University, where she plans to study journalism and business and aspires to attend law school.
Elle also earned preliminary awards in both evening wear and talent, with her talent award recognizing her violin performance of “Czardas” by Vittorio Monti.
As Miss America’s Teen 2027, Elle will serve as a national ambassador for the Miss America’s Teen program, encouraging young women everywhere to dream boldly, lead confidently, and embrace their limitless potential.
“I want every young person I meet this year to walk away knowing that their voice matters, their choices matter, and most importantly, they matter. Because you don’t need a crown to be a leader. You don’t need a title to serve. You don’t need to wait for someone to tell you that you’re ready. You are ready,” Elle said. “As Miss America’s Teen, I want to spend this year reminding young women of exactly that.”
Elle earned the crown after advancing through multiple rounds of competition and securing a place in the Top 5, alongside Madalyn Sullivan (1RU, MS), Zoe Zogleman (2RU, TX), Natalia Yurecko (3RU, MN), and Logan Wells (4RU, SC).
Rounding out this year’s distinguished group of semifinalists were Melony Tidmore (GA), Aria Christensen (OR), Tianna Lei Wailehua (HI), Camdyn Lee (NC), Lucille Esler (NY), and Kendall Laroche (NH).
