[TROY, ALABAMA] July 1, 2026 — The Miss America’s Scholarship Foundation is thrilled to announce a new higher education partnership with Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Through this partnership, each year the entirety of each class of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen State Brand Ambassadors will receive a four-year renewable scholarship at Troy University covering undergraduate tuition, fees, and on-campus housing.
This opportunity is now available to the Class of 2026 and the Class of 2027 Brand Ambassadors, reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to expanding access to higher education through scholarship. For out-of-state recipients, the award provides full coverage of tuition, fees, and on-campus housing, valued at approximately $130,000 over four years.

Troy University has a long history of partnership with the Miss America organization. The University has hosted the Miss Troy University pageant since 1972, with winners advancing to compete in Miss Alabama. Former Miss Troy Yolanda Fernandez claimed the Miss Alabama title in 1982 and was third runner-up to Miss America 1983.
