Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan returns to the World Center of Racing
[DAYTONA BEACH, FL] August 25, 2026 – Cassie Donegan, Miss America 2026, will perform the National Anthem ahead of the Coke Zero Sugar 400 on August 29th marking her return to the World Center of Racing.
“Having Cassie return to DAYTONA to perform the National Anthem once again is a special moment for everyone at the track,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is one of the most anticipated nights on the calendar, and welcoming Cassie back to kick off the end of the regular season is the perfect addition to the thrilling weekend at the World Center of Racing.”
Cassie Donegan will make another appearance in front of the DAYTONA crowd to kick off the regular season finale for the NASCAR Cup Series. She made her first trip to the famed track for the 2026 DAYTONA 500 where she helped to open the NASCAR season before the Duels.
Daytona International Speedway and the Miss America organization first announced their multi-year partnership at the 2026 Miss America competition in September 2025. This collaboration showcases how both American institutes are committed to making an impact.
The race weekend will feature the regular season finales for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, with action kicking off on Friday, August 28th, at 7:30p.m. ET with the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series taking to the track. Then on Saturday, August 29th, the NASCAR Cup Series drivers will conclude the weekend at the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at 7:30 p.m. ET for the final opportunity to earn their spot in The Chase.
Fans can attend the Coke Zero Sugar 400 and witness Cassie perform her rendition of the National Anthem before the Cup stars battle for a spot in The Chase on the high banks.
