[WASHINGTON, D.C.] May 25, 2026 — Cassie Donegan joined thousands in the nation’s capital this Memorial Day weekend for the Freedom 250 National Memorial Day Parade, the nation’s largest Memorial Day commemoration.
Hosted by the American Veterans Center and sponsored by Boeing, this year’s 22nd annual parade brought together veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and patriotic organizations from across the country to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States.
As Miss America and an Honorary Global Ambassador for the USO, Cassie’s participation aligns with the organization’s longstanding commitment to supporting members of the military community and uplifting stories of service, sacrifice, and patriotism.
The parade also served as a meaningful moment in the lead-up to America’s 250th anniversary, highlighting the shared history, resilience, and spirit that continue to unite the nation.
During the parade, Miss America performed a patriotic medley aboard the parade float, accompanied by servicemen and women, in a tribute honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
