[HOUSTON, TX] April 11, 2026 — Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan attended A Spectrum of Elegance Gala this weekend, an event benefiting KNOWAutism, a foundation dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families.
Founded in 2013, KNOWAutism helps families navigate the journey of diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and education by providing critical resources and support.
In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month, Cassie was honored to take part in the evening’s events. As the older sibling of an individual with autism, she shared her family’s personal story and helped raise both awareness and vital funding for families nationwide.
The evening brought together advocates, families, and supporters in a shared commitment to expanding resources and creating more inclusive communities for individuals with autism.
