Presidents Day, February 16, 2026 — As the nation approaches its 250th anniversary, the Miss America Organization unveils a historic new emblem of bold patriotism, stitched in red, white, and blue, a new patriotic sash for Miss America rolling out nationwide.
On Presidents Day, Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan and all 52 State Ambassadors will debut the striking new sashes, a powerful tribute to the enduring promise of our country. Expertly crafted by Miss America’s official partner, The Sash Company, these custom patriotic sashes will be worn by Miss America Cassie Donegan and both the Class of 2025 and the Class of 2026 throughout the Semiquincentennial year of celebration, along with a new Miss America who will be crowned in September 2026.
The commemorative sashes will take center stage across the nation at appearances in every state. In addition, the sashes will be featured prominently at the Salute to Independence Parade July 3 in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy.
For over a century, Miss America has reflected the American story, resilience forged through adversity, service rooted in community and opportunity earned through dedication. From sea to shining sea, these patriotic sashes stand as a symbol of unity across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, honoring the generations who secured our freedoms and the young women who wear them with purpose.
