[ORLANDO, FL] July 29, 2025 – The Miss America Organization is proud to announce the return of the Quality of Life Awards, honoring the extraordinary community service of our 52 brand ambassadors representing all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
A longstanding tradition within the Miss America program, the Quality of Life Award recognizes delegates whose commitment to service has created measurable, lasting impact in their communities. These women exemplify the mission of Miss America—not only by leading with compassion and conviction, but by translating their passions into purpose-driven action.
This year, Delegates won’t just submit a traditional application — they’ll take the mic. For the first time ever, each delegate will record a 60-second video, sharing the passion, purpose, and personal impact behind their community work. It’s an opportunity to let the world hear their voices, feel their stories, and witness the heart of a program that stands among the most impactful community service organizations for young women today.
Quality of Life Scholarship Awards
Winner: $10,000
First Runner-Up: $5,000
Second Runner-Up: $2,500
Semi-finalists will be announced during the Arrival Ceremony. Final scholarship recipients will be announced live on stage during the Miss America Preliminary Competition on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
In the spirit of the Quality of Life tradition, the Teens in Action Awards honor exceptional community service by Teen delegates who are leading with courage, creativity, and compassion in their local communities.
Teens in Action Scholarship Awards
Winner: $3,000
First Runner-Up: $2,000
Second Runner-Up: $1,000
Finalists and the overall winner will be announced live on stage during the Miss America’s Teen Preliminary Competition on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
This year, the Quality of Life and Teens in Action Awards go beyond tradition—they are a call to lead with purpose, speak with heart, and show the nation what service in action truly means.
