Purpose in the Capital: Miss America Abbie Stockard Advocates for Impact in Washington, D.C.

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] May 29, 2025 — Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard, traveled to Washington, D.C. for a series of high-profile engagements that highlighted her continued commitment to service, advocacy, and national impact.

Her visit included a private tour of the Pentagon, where she was welcomed as a guest of honor. She also attended the USO Gala, joining military leaders, service members, and supporters to celebrate the organization’s enduring commitment to those in uniform.

Abbie was also welcomed into the Oval Office, where Stockard met with President Donald Trump to discuss the life-saving mission of the Promise Fund—a cause founded by Ambassador Nancy Brinker to fight breast and cervical cancer through early detection and access to care.

As both a nurse and national advocate, Stockard continues to use her platform to advance meaningful causes and connect with leaders across sectors. Her presence in the capital underscored the evolving role of Miss America as not just a cultural figure, but a dedicated voice for change.
