Miss America Announces Collaboration with America’s Gold Star Familie

May 9, 2025 — Miss America is proud to announce a new national collaboration with America’s Gold Star Families, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing honor, hope, and healing to families of fallen military heroes. This meaningful collaboration brings together two organizations united in their commitment to service, community engagement, and the recognition of sacrifice.

“We are honored to be partners with Miss America,” said Patti Latch, Founder and Executive Director of America’s Gold Star Families. “Their commitment to service and leadership makes them an ideal ally in our efforts to support and uplift Gold Star families nationwide.”

The collaboration will enhance outreach and support initiatives for Gold Star families—those navigating the loss of a parent, spouse, or child in military service—by expanding awareness, fostering remembrance, and providing healing opportunities. As one of the nation’s leading service organizations, Miss America will help amplify the mission to ensure these families are heard, seen, supported, and that their stories are shared with the respect and recognition they deserve.

“As a mother of an Army Officer and from a long line of family serving in the military, I am so proud to have Miss America collaborate with Gold Star Families, Inc.,” said Robin Fleming, CEO of Miss America. “This is a deeply meaningful relationship, and Miss America is committed to honoring the Gold Star families across the nation.” United in purpose, Miss America and America’s Gold Star Families are dedicated to honoring the lasting legacy of our fallen heroes, highlighting the strength and resilience of the families who preserve and carry their memory forward.
