Atlantic City, NJ (April 10, 2017) – We are overjoyed to announce the incredible success of our 3rd Annual Miss America Serves National Day of Service! The response is overwhelming and the service of the Miss America State Titleholders, MAOTeen Titleholders, and all contestants in the Miss America system is astounding.

We soared over last year’s fundraising and will be at $150,000 by the close of day, today. Your amazing service and support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals encouraged us set to our sights higher, and by April 21st, we expect the total funds raised to climb even higher! The generosity of your donors is a direct result of your passion for the children treated by CMN Hospitals.

To date, at least seven of our state organizations have met their $5,000 pledges—just a reminder that the Miss America Serves Donor Site will remain open until the cutoff date of Friday, April 21st at 11:59 PM PST, to allow each team to meet their pledged goals and qualify for the incentive awards.

Your dedication and commitment to serve on this special Miss America day is obvious in your Facebook and Twitter posts, and we have experienced the joy you bring to those you serve! You have our sincere and heartfelt thanks for supporting this day with enthusiasm and love—we have watched with gratitude and jubilant hearts as the Miss America Family joined together to create the miracle of Miss America Serves!
