Atlantic City, NJ (February 27, 2017) – Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields proudly joined participants of all ages in Orlando, FL, for the annual Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. As the National Goodwill Ambassador for CMN Hospitals, Savvy attended and gave words of encouragement at events including the Disney Enchanted 10K, the Miracle Morning Breakfast at Epcot, and the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

Early Saturday morning, Savvy spoke briefly at the start line of the Disney Enchanted 10k to welcome runners and supporters who traveled from around the country to participate in these exciting events in support of CMN Hospitals. Savvy held the finish line ribbon for both the 10K and half marathon and presented awards to the top runners at the award ceremony. These annual events in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals proved to be another success!

The excitement will continue next month with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Momentum events in Orlando, FL. Miss America 2017 Savvy Shields will join CMN Hospitals Champions and their families for the events to celebrate with some of the nation’s biggest fundraisers and supporters of CMN Hospitals.
